After three poignant segments with our expert guest contributors, Harvey and Shelley wrapped up the May 4th show talking about our companies recent conversion on April 29th from Prudential Americana Group, REALTORS® to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Nevada Properties. Shelley pointed out that real estate is about people and we are still the same people providing the same excellent service under a new and exciting brand name. On the day of the conversion, Earl Lee, president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, visited our branch office to talk to all of us about the brand change and all the benefits we are gaining under the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services name.
Harvey’s stat of the week came from RAS Media who came out with their top 500 power brokers and our company finished 36th in the nation and we are by far the top broker in Nevada.
Shelley’s fun fact piggy backed off the old saying “A man’s home is his castle.” This originated in England but it’s more like a shed than a castle!! The average square footage of a home in England is a mere 817 square feet! What’s the average square footage of a home in the United States – almost 3 times that size at 2,163 square feet … Apparently, size really does matter!!
