Rick Saxen with American Best Insurance joined us again for a segment during our April 27th broadcast. His topic for this show centered around renter’s insurance along with some insights on liability and claim reporting.
Rick stressed the importance for tenants to insure their belongings and valuables because the landlord’s insurance only covers their items. Another important element of renter’s insurance is the liability protection in case there is an accident or injury on the premises.
It is also critical to report any claims immediately and to do anything and everything in your power to stop the loss and prevent further damage in the claim.
