In this week’s Video of the Week, Berkshire Hathaway General Counsel Darren Welsh is welcomed back to the show. Last time Darren was on, he revealed that he was running for Assembly for District 20, which runs from about Maryland Parkway to the Galleria Mall between Flamingo and Warm Springs. This time, Darren delves more into what his stances are on the three Es he believes are important: education, economy and environment. Darren reveals that he feels economy is the most important. Without an economy, there’s no money for schools or a desire to help the environment. How do we build the economy, then? Darren says we need an infrastructure that creates more jobs while combating bureaucracy that could stunt growth. What would that mean for education, for the environment?
